Our Story: From First Steps to Next Steps.

In 1998, Saima Asghar, the founder behind StEPS, began representing her alma mater, the University of Warwick, for international admissions. Supporting students through those first steps taught her that every path is different, and the right advice depends on knowing the person, not just the process. Today, with an education and career coaching consultancy history in Dubai and Pakistan, StEPS offers admissions, career coaching and professional development to students and professionals beyond.

Founder & CEO

Saima Asghar, Founder & CEO. TESOL-qualified Warwick alumna with 25+ years in counselling, admissions, mentoring, teaching and teacher training. She has represented the University of Warwick for international admissions since 1998. British Council certified IELTS professional, DiSC and ‘How Women Rise’ coach. Formerly Founding Director of Faculty Development & Internationalisation at Lahore College for Women University.
